The SPD Audax SMU is a premium DA OTF designed and produced for our Military and Law Enforcement customers in mind. The SMU features an all Black-Out finish down to the screws, and a 2-tone blade with satin flats on the higher friction areas. An excellent, refined, one-hand opening and closing edged tool made for those who serve and protect. Precision, Strength, Courage.

Precision machined with our distinct and recognizable aesthetic and styling; characteristic of a purpose driven, lifelong design direction and ethos. This OTF features a classic American clip point blade silhouette, ergonomic arcs, and the purposeful fluting and texturing of the modern machine age as found in high grade tools to precision barrels. The Audax features a fully contoured, type III hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle, titanium billet pocket clip, GID inlaid slider, and internal lanyard pin. The action uses coil springs placed in linear orientations for a rapid blade deployment (and retraction) when seconds count. Coming in at a mid-sized 3.5" blade length, the Audax is a high standard automatic for users that need speed and quick blade accessibility when on the job and on duty.
